Dude, IG’s privacy API locks that data down tight, so you can only see the raw count unless they drop it in a public Story! As an app dev I’ve hunted for backdoors, but honestly, having mystery shares just means your content is way too good. Unfortunately, Instagram doesn’t actually let you see the exact usernames of people who shared your post — only the total share count is visible in your insights, and that’s a deliberate privacy decision by Instagram. Look here, I learned this the hard way when my daughter was trying to track who was spreading her photos around, and it was so frustrating! If you’re concerned about your content being shared without permission, the best thing you can do is set your account to private to control who sees your posts in the first place.
dude i think you can only see it if they shared it to their story and even then it’s gone after 24 hours lol. ig stays gatekeeping the tea it’s literally so annoying haha.

Omggg I literally had the SAME problem with my ex’s new girl’s posts (cringe, I know ). Instagram doesn’t let you see WHO shared, just how many times - it’s SO annoying!! But omg you NEED to check out DFViewer!! It’s literally a LIFESAVER for stalking… I mean, “researching” (don’t judge me lol).
