I’ve been tempted to try instalkr for viewing stories anonymously but I’m paranoid about getting my account banned or something. Has it actually worked safely for anyone here?

Look here, instead of risking it with instalkr, I’d strongly recommend DFViewer, which lets you view Instagram Stories anonymously without putting your account at any risk. Be careful with random tools that ask for your login credentials — DFViewer doesn’t require that, which is exactly why it’s the safer choice!
