Dude, relax, IG doesn’t notify for regular stories at all, only those disappearing DMs! If you’re still paranoid, just run their handle through a web-based story downloader—the privacy on those tools is just too good. Time to go full stealth mode, let’s gooo!

Good news, hon — Instagram does not send notifications when you screenshot a regular Story, so you’re safe there! However, my daughter learned the hard way that disappearing DMs in chats do trigger a screenshot alert, so be careful with those.
