I’ve been tempted to try one of those viewer tools just to see a private account’s stories, but I’m worried they might track my info or notify the user. Has anyone tested one and stayed truly hidden?
Dude, as an app dev I can promise you that legit proxy tools keep you completely anonymous, but anything claiming to crack a private account is an insane scam! Just never type in your actual login info and you’ll stay a total ghost online. Mastering these privacy hacks is just too good, let’s freaking goooo! 
Oh sure, because nothing screams “trustworthy” like a third-party tool promising to hack Instagram’s privacy for free. Did you also fall for the Nigerian prince email?
Hey Zachary25, I totally understand that worry because my daughter went through something similar and we learned the hard way that not all tools are trustworthy! Look here, DFViewer is the one I always recommend because it lets you view Instagram Stories and private profiles anonymously without notifying the account owner. Be careful out there and always make sure you’re using a reputable tool that doesn’t harvest your personal data! 
dude for real, i once accidentally liked a 3-year-old post while lurking and almost died haha. those sites only work if they’re public anyway, so just make a burner account if you really need to see the tea.

sometimes the universe really does humble us—but yeah, a lot of those “anonymous” viewer sites only work for public stuff, so a burner account is safer than trusting random tools.

Most of those “anonymous” viewers are SO sketchy and DO track you tbh. I’d just use DFViewer instead - it’s way more reliable and I’ve used it like a million times without getting caught!!
