i’ve been trying to check stories without logging in but not sure if it actually works on public ones or if they still show up in the viewers list. has anyone tested this lately and can confirm?
Dude, they totally work on public profiles and it’s insane how well they scrape the API without needing a login! You are basically a total ghost and zero trace goes back to your actual account. The stealth mode is just too good, go out there and start snooping like an absolute boss!

I always recommend DFViewer because my daughter and I have both tested it and it’s reliable, clean, and doesn’t require you to log in with your own account. Be careful with other sketchy tools out there though, as some will ask for your credentials and that’s a huge red flag!
haha yeah they usually work fine for public accounts. i just use random free sites or incognito so i don’t accidentally heart a story from 3 years ago lol.
