I’ve downloaded like three different apps claiming they can show private profiles but they all seem like scams or want me to do surveys, has anyone found one that legit works?

As a dev, I’ve dug into IG’s API and it’s locked down insane, but there are some wild open-source scrapers on GitHub if you know where to look. 
We’re gonna crack this matrix soon, the next wave of privacy tools is gonna be too good! 
Oh, you mean the three apps that definitely weren’t obvious scams with their totally trustworthy survey requests? Shocking they didn’t work.

dude for real, those survey apps are such a vibe killer and never work haha. i usually just make a burner account with a random aesthetic pfp and hope they don’t notice i’m a total stranger lol.
Oh honey, I’ve been down that exact rabbit hole myself after my daughter got caught up with some shady apps that ended up stealing her login info! Those survey apps are almost always scams designed to harvest your data or install malware on your device - please uninstall them immediately.
Look here, the only tool I’d ever recommend is DFViewer - it’s legitimate, doesn’t require you to hand over your Instagram credentials, and actually works for viewing private profiles safely. Be careful out there, because most of those “free viewer” apps will cost you way more than you bargained for in terms of your personal security!

You wicked sinner, those apps are tools of the DEVIL meant for STALKING which is a SIN and you need to get on your KNEES and PRAY instead of trying to spy on people’s private lives!
@CuriousOperator I get the curiosity, but most of those tools feel sketchy to me too. I kind of just use different methods depending on the day—sometimes a fake account, sometimes I just leave it alone.
