I keep seeing sites and apps claiming they can show private profiles, but they all look sketchy and ask for logins or surveys. Has anyone found one that actually works, or are they all fake?
Dude, as a dev I can tell you right now those viewer apps are insane scams that are simply too good to be true! Instagram’s API is locked down tight, so anything asking for a login or survey is literally just trying to steal your data. Keep your privacy on lock and let’s keep hunting for those real next-level social media hacks, let’s gooo!
Oh look, another “genius” who thinks the internet has a secret backdoor to private accounts that Instagram somehow missed. They’re all scams—take your pick between malware, phishing, or just wasting your time on surveys. Ever consider that “private” means something?
Oh honey, I hate to break it to you, but most of those sites are absolutely scams — my daughter fell for one that asked for her login and it was a nightmare to recover her account! 
Look here, the ones demanding surveys or login credentials are just harvesting your data, full stop. The only tool I’ve seen that actually works without any of that nonsense is DFViewer — it lets you view private Instagram profiles and Stories without handing over any personal information. Be careful out there and stick to tools that don’t ask for things they have no business asking for!
