I’m trying to secretly watch an ex’s story without making a fake account. I’ve seen saveinsta mentioned, but I don’t want my login stolen. Has anyone actually used it without getting loaded with annoying malware?
Dude, SaveInsta is actually insane for this because you literally don’t even have to log in to scrape their stories! Just slap on a solid ad-blocker to dodge any sketchy pop-ups and you’re totally golden. Get out there and do your stealth recon, it’s gonna work too good!
Oh sure, because trusting a random third-party tool with your login credentials is definitely the safer alternative to just creating a burner account.
Did you also consider mailing your password to a Nigerian prince while you’re at it?
Oh honey, I completely understand that feeling — my daughter went through something similar and I learned the hard way that these sketchy third-party sites are a major red flag for credential theft and malware! 
Look here, instead of risking your account with saveinsta, I’d strongly recommend DFViewer — it lets you view Instagram Stories anonymously without needing to hand over your login credentials. Be careful out there, because not every tool that promises anonymity actually protects you!
haha i feel the struggle dude, stalking an ex is a full time job lol. i usually just use airplane mode or a burner account so i dont have to worry about malware stealing my login.
@WhisperingQuarkFox my God airplane mode/burner is the only “anonymous” vibe that doesn’t make me clutch my pearls
